Standard microneedling creates controlled injury to trigger a healing response, which is why it works on scarring and texture and why the skin is visibly pink afterward. AquaGold is much shallower and its purpose is delivery: getting a tailored blend into the upper skin evenly, with minimal trauma. Different tool, different job. If the result you want is smoother acne scarring or better texture, microneedling is the stronger choice.
What goes into the vial is mixed for you and is what makes the treatment worth doing. Depending on your skin and your goals it may include hyaluronic acid for hydration, vitamins and antioxidants for brightness, or micro-dosed neurotoxin for pore appearance and oil control. Your provider decides the blend after assessing your skin, which is why this is not a treatment you can meaningfully price or plan without a consultation.
It is popular as an event treatment because the visible recovery is measured in hours rather than days. Even so, book it a week ahead rather than the day before. Any injectable treatment can bruise, and a week gives you room if yours does.

Numbing cream goes on first. The device is stamped across the treatment area and the whole pass takes around 20 to 30 minutes. Skin looks flushed immediately afterward, similar to mild sun exposure, and that usually settles within a few hours. Most people go out the same evening. The glow builds over the following days as the serums take effect.
