Why some areas will not shift
Fat is not lost evenly, and where your body holds on is largely genetic and hormonal rather than a matter of effort. Lower abdomen, flanks, inner thighs and under the chin are the usual holdouts. Someone can be lean, training consistently, and still have a pocket that has not moved in years. That is exactly the situation contouring was designed for, and it is also why it does nothing useful for someone whose weight is still changing.
Fat or loose skin: check before you book
These are confused constantly and they need opposite treatments. Pinch the area. If what comes away between your fingers is thick and soft, that is subcutaneous fat and contouring applies. If it is thin and crepey and settles back slowly, that is laxity, and reducing fat there will make it look worse by removing what was filling it out. Skin tightening is the treatment for that, and some plans need both in a specific order.
What suits you is decided at consultation, from your skin and your history. Consultations are complimentary.
The order matters if weight is still moving
Contouring an area while your weight is still changing means treating a target that will not stay put. If your goal is weight loss rather than shaping, a medically guided plan is where to start, and contouring comes afterward for what remains. Doing it the other way around is the most common way people waste money on this.

Realistic timelines and results
Treated fat cells are cleared by the body gradually over weeks to months, so nothing visible happens the week you are treated. More than one session on an area is common. And the fat cells that remain can still enlarge, so holding your weight is what preserves the result. Anyone describing a dramatic change in days is describing swelling.
